This page explains how to delete data connected to the Invoice Flow Android app, published by GiveMeMood. It is the deletion-request page referenced in the app's Google Play listing.
1. The two kinds of data
Invoice Flow is offline-first, so deletion has two separate parts:
| Where the data lives | What it is | Who can delete it |
|---|---|---|
| On your device | Everything you entered: business profile, clients, invoices, estimates, contracts, products, expenses, projects, time entries, photos, PDF templates and settings | Only you. We have no copy and no access. |
| On our side | Anonymous analytics identifiers, crash reports, a hashed trial-abuse record, and any email correspondence with you | We do, on request — see section 3. |
2. Deleting the data on your device
Your business data never leaves your phone, so you delete it yourself — completely and instantly:
- Delete everything: uninstall the app, or open Android Settings → Apps → Invoice Flow → Storage → Clear data. This wipes the local database, photos and settings. It is irreversible unless you made a backup.
- Delete selectively: individual invoices, clients, products and other records can be deleted inside the app.
- Backups you created (JSON or ZIP files) live wherever you saved them — your device storage or your own cloud drive. Delete those files yourself; we never receive them.
3. Asking us to delete the data on our side
Email privacy@invoiceflow.management from any address, with the subject "Data deletion request". You do not need an account (the app has none). We will:
- delete the Firebase Analytics data linked to your app instance (if you include the app-instance ID; without it, analytics data is anonymous and expires automatically — see retention below);
- delete the hashed device record used to prevent free-trial abuse;
- delete our email correspondence with you, unless we are legally required to keep it (e.g. tax records of a subscription dispute).
We answer within 30 days (GDPR Art. 12). Usually it is much faster.
4. What we cannot delete
- Your Google Play purchase history — held by Google under the Google Privacy Policy; manage it in your Google account.
- Data on your device — we have no remote access; use section 2.
5. Automatic retention limits
Even without a request, server-side data expires on its own: analytics events after at most 14 months, crash reports after 90 days, server logs after 30 days, correspondence after 3 years. Details in the privacy policy.
