These Terms govern your use of the Invoice Flow Android application and the website invoiceflow.management, both operated by GiveMeMood. By installing the app or using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use them.
1. What Invoice Flow is
Invoice Flow is offline invoicing software for small businesses: it lets you create invoices, estimates and contracts, track clients, expenses, time and projects, and export professional PDFs. It runs on your device and requires no account.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you control, for your own business or your employer's business. You may not:
- copy, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute the app;
- reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract its source code, except where that right cannot lawfully be excluded;
- remove or obscure any notice of ownership;
- use the app to produce fraudulent documents or for any unlawful purpose.
The app, its templates, icons, texts and this website's content remain our property or our licensors' property. Documents you create with it are entirely yours.
3. Free and paid features
The app is free to install and a set of features is free to use. Additional features are unlocked by a paid subscription bought through Google Play. Terms, prices, renewal and refunds are set out in Subscriptions & Refunds, which forms part of this agreement.
4. Your data and backups
Your business data is stored on your device, not on our servers. This is a deliberate design choice, and it has a consequence you must understand:
You are solely responsible for backing up your data. If your device is lost, damaged, reset, or the app is uninstalled without a backup, we cannot recover anything. The app provides a backup and restore function; use it regularly and keep the backup file somewhere other than the device itself.
5. No professional advice
Invoice Flow, the guides on this website and the blog provide general information about invoicing, tax and business practice. They are not legal, tax or accounting advice. Rules differ by country and change over time. Tax rates, late-fee rules, invoice numbering requirements and mandatory invoice fields are your responsibility to verify with a qualified professional or your tax authority before relying on them.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legal compliance of every document you issue with the app.
6. Availability and changes
Because the app works offline, it keeps working even if our website or our services do not. We may nevertheless change, suspend or discontinue features, including in updates. We aim to avoid changes that destroy existing data, and updates are designed to migrate your data forward.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced through the app or this page; continued use after a change means you accept it.
7. Warranty disclaimer
The app and the website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software is error-free or that it meets any specific legal or accounting requirement in your jurisdiction.
Nothing here excludes rights that consumer law in your country grants you and which cannot lawfully be excluded — in particular statutory warranty rights in the EU/EEA and UK.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, nor for lost profits, lost revenue, lost business or lost data. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the app or this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the subscription in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Third-party services
The app and site rely on Google Play, Google Firebase and Google Analytics. Your use of those services is also subject to Google's terms. Links from this site to third parties are provided for convenience; we do not control and are not responsible for their content.
10. Termination
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it; cancel any active subscription through Google Play first. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these Terms. Sections 5, 7, 8 and 12 survive termination.
11. Website content
